Project Run & Play has begun once again.
This week's challenge was to remix The Party Dress by Cottage Home. Since I have no girl to sew for I decided to remix for Case. And although he could probably pull off a girl look, I instead made a sweater and a pair of comfy pants to go along.
The covered buttons on the back are by far my favorite detail. I cut out the teeny cowboys and star from the knit that I used to line the sweater.
Can't wait to see what the designers come up with tomorrow!
Specs
Sweater:
Pattern- Made by Rae Skinny Tee and O+S Sailboat Tee as a base to work from
Fabric- Jersey knit upcycled from old sweater and lining from an old tank top
Pants:
Pattern- self drafted based on old sweats with many modifications
Fabric- Sweatshirt knit from my grandma's stash- inherited on a recent trip to Iowa
I love this! Very cool!
